Description
This subject also explains the process of identifying the functions that a data Center must fulfill for an organization, the selection of an optimal location for it, and its design from multiple points of view to provide a safe and controlled environment able to provide non-stop computer and communication services.
The subject will address the main Management processes currently used for Information technology projects, as well as the way in which they must be defined, analyzed, developed, and driven for successful project execution.
Objectives.
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- Plan, design, start, direct and evaluate a Data Center, in a way that it Satisfies the Information needs of organizations of different types, in an efficient manner and with optimization of Resources.
- Manage Information Technology Projects as a relevant factor of the fulfillment of the Strategic Goals of an Organization, following international standards and best practices.
